Sondra Vaughn, owner of The Kids' Clubhouse, brings 30 years of experience in loving, encouraging, and teaching children of all ages to the program. She earned a four year degree in Childhood Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has used her education to teach in the school system, Sunday school, Awana club, and Church youth groups. Sondra was the Director of a growing after school and summer camp program in Kernersville for the past eight years before branching out to start her own business. Sondra has been married to Robert for 35 years and lives near her four daughters, one of which is her business partner, Jill Eversole. She loves to spend her free time reading, enjoying time with family and friends, and especially playing with her three beautiful grandchildren!

Jill Eversole, owner of The Kids' Clubhouse, has spent a majority of her life volunteering with children and over nine years within the after school and summer camp industry. Having a Bachelors degree in Communication Studies and Public Relations from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, she brings a lot of excitement and personality to the program. Jill and her husband, Jackson (that's right... Jack and Jill), have been married for eight years and have a beautiful one year old daughter and a five year old black lab. In her free time, Jill enjoys spending time with her family and friends, taking long walks with her daughter, playing sports, baking, and traveling. One of her favorite places to visit is the Dominican Republic. On any given day, you will find Jill smiling, laughing, and making new friends wherever she goes!

Mission Statement

To enhance the lives of school age children within the community by providing an enriched educational opportunity through participation in academic, social, artistic, and physical activities during the after school and summer hours.

Within our program, the first purpose is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for school-aged children within the surrounding communities. We consider it a priority to maintain a program that is in the best interest of the children at all times.

Secondly, it is our focus to ensure that parents can be assured that their children will receive excellent care while in the program. We will strive to maintain open relationships with all parents in order to provide the highest quality of care for their children.

Thirdly, we believe that our after school care and summer camp program should not only be a place of excitement and fun, but also a place of growth. We will continually seek to provide an environment that encourages children to grow on an academic, social, artistic, physical, and spiritual level.
